The ass of my life! My heritage and my future! The ass of my mother!

This painting is so special not only because it is my mother's ass, and all the emotional blackmail I have to put into it! Guilt-tripping, silent treatment, conditional love, victimisation, shaming, threats of abandonment, comparison, emotional explosions, withholding affection

(Horrible right! I know! Don’t judge me! I learned from the best! Try to convince your mother to let you paint her bum!)

I have to say things like:  “you alway say you would do anything for me”, “Do you have any inheritance for me I don’t know of?” “I don’t want family porcelain for twelve people!” “So you love me so much but I can’t paint your bum?","You were the inspiration for this project Mom!” 

“Mom! Mom, mom, mooooom! ..

I regret nothing!

It is just beautiful! The contrast of red background and crochet of stretch marks and wrinkles covering muscles are hypnotising.

It was totally worth it. 

You would like to know my mom wasn’t emotionally or physically hurt during this process. We still talk, we even like each other.
